Leslie Geraldine Sherman

Leslie Geraldine Sherman’s shyness melted away
Positive oozed out her mouth by the things she chose to say
When she saw those who lips curved frown
She did her best to turn it upside down
She tried to encourage and up build and rocket their spirits high
Running exciting feet with the ground colliding
History books folded, highlighted all in a cascade
Brining back smiles that sometimes fade
History brought her purpose gave her something to strive
She was happy to be here happy to be alive
Leslie the daughter and friend who loved running in fields
Remember her smiles and how they up build
